South Africa AIDS Conference 2023

The SA AIDS conference took place in Durban from 20th to 23rd June Durban, Kwazulu-Natal province. Hosted every second year, the conference brings together government, the UN, civil society organisations, medical researchers and scientists and activists to raise awareness and share progress being made to end AIDS by 2030 as a public health threat.
The UN in South Africa supported the conference with the Resident Coordinator, Nelson Muffuh sharing a message of support from the UN team and UNAIDS and other agencies hosting and participating in insightful sessions on prevention and treatment of HIV/AIDS with focus on key populations including adolescent girls and young women among others.
