United Nations in South Africa and the Nelson Mandela Foundation launch the Nelson Mandela SDG Quotes Booklet

The flagship component of the UN South Africa advocacy campaign is the production and publication of a "Nelson Mandela Quotes and SDGs Book". This publication has been produced in partnership with The Nelson Mandela Foundation. The book provides practical tips and encourages people to do their part toward contributing to the attainment of the SDGs and targets in SA.

The Book is part of Madiba’s call to action for new hands to champion and continue with the social justice work toward eradicating poverty and inequality as well as the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals. In remembrance of Madiba, the messaging is his legacy lives through you, therefore #ItsInYourHands.

The book of quotes from Nelson Mandela in relation to the SDGs intends to serve as a reminder of the impact that a single individual can have on the world. In these pages, Madiba’s words are aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals, offering insights, inspiration, and a call to action to each one of us to make a difference in our communities and beyond.
