MEDIA BRIEFING: The United Nations in South Africa contributes toward rebuilding efforts in the KwaZulu-Natal province
UN contributes towards the rebuilding efforts of the KZ province in the aftermath of the devastating floods last month.
About the event
The Premier of the KwaZulu-Natal province, Mr. Sihle Zikalala, and the Resident Coordinator a.i. of the United Nations in South Africa, Mr. Ayodele Odusola, will host a joint media briefing today, as the UN contributes towards the rebuilding efforts of the province in the aftermath of the devastating floods last month. This follows a three-day visit by the UN technical team two weeks ago to assess the growing needs of communities across the province.
The media briefing will take place Thursday, 12 May 2022, from 15h30 to 16h30 at the Department of Public Works, Archie Gumede Conference Centre in Mayville, 455a Jan Smuts Highway, Durban, KwaZulu-Natal. Media are invited and are kindly requested to arrive at least 15 minutes prior to the start of the event in adherence with COVID-19 protocols.
